This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week onsite at our Lake Zurich, IL office, with the remaining days worked remotely
Summary
Responsible for processing, releasing, transmitting and maintaining all documentation/data used in the design and development of LRUs and On Aircraft Installation and Certification Packages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties as assigned.
- Create and maintain product bills of material within the ERP systems.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and PM departments to research and resolve discrepancies.
- Process new part number requests and prepare ECOs within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Manage ECO creation, routing and release of development program artifacts.
- Control all incoming reference data and ensure revisions are current
- Assist in the maintenance of the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) database and Armstrong?s compliance to FAA regulations (14 CFR §21.93, 21.95 and 21.31).
- Transmit data to appropriate persons using customer preferred methods.
- Compile worksheets outlining changes to BOMs in ERP system (per ECO or RMA) and lead the Armstrong Aerospace Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
- Organize and maintain the Armstrong Aerospace Library, both physically and digitally.
- Actively participate in the Quality Management System (QMS).

Education and/or Experience
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one year experience working in a Document Control, engineering or manufacturing environment utilizing controlled documents
- Associates degree in an engineering/technical or data management field

The salary range specified is applicable to positions within the State of Illinois and reflects various factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, individual skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and the specific needs of our business and organization. At Astronics CSC, it is uncommon for new hires to receive an offer at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are made based on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate. The current estimated hourly pay $20.00?$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
