Founded in 1996, HALOCK Security Labs is a U.S.-based, privately owned risk and information security consulting firm with a reputation for solving high-stakes security challenges. We invented the Duty of Care Risk Analysis (DoCRA) and authored the CIS Risk Assessment Method — frameworks that help organizations build security programs that are effective, defensible, and aligned with real business risk. Clients come to HALOCK for judgment, credibility, and results — they stay because people know how to make complex risk decisions clearer.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you’ll become a trusted advisor to clients in industries where cybersecurity decisions carry real consequences — healthcare, financial services, legal, enterprise retail, and other highly regulated environments. You’ll own and grow relationships, uncover new opportunities, and help executives, boards, and general counsel can understand what security risk means for their business. This is a role for someone who enjoys consultative selling, meaningful client conversations, and the chance to represent a respected cybersecurity firm whose work directly helps organizations make smarter, safer decisions.

What You'll Do

Build trusted relationships with clients and serve as their primary point of contact throughout the engagement lifecycle
Grow revenue through strategic account expansion, consultative upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and thoughtful territory development
Listen for client goals, risks, and pressures, then connect them to practical security solutions that fit their environment
Manage a healthy pipeline from first conversation through close, with clear next steps and disciplined follow-through
Partner with HALOCK consultants in penetration testing, incident response, compliance validation, and risk management to deliver high-quality client outcomes
Lead regular client check-ins and quarterly business reviews that surface priorities, risks, and future needs
Represent HALOCK in client meetings and industry conversations with professionalism, curiosity, and confidence
Maintain accurate activity, opportunity, and forecast information in HubSpot CRM
Support account planning, forecasting, and pipeline reporting with reliable data and clear communication
Travel to client sites as needed, approximately 10–15%

What You Bring

5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or client success, with a history of meeting or exceeding goals
A consultative sales style — you know how to ask smart questions, uncover business needs, and earn trust over time
Comfort working with C-level stakeholders, legal teams, technical leaders, and decision-makers who expect substance
Genuine curiosity about cybersecurity, risk, and compliance; you do not need to be a technologist, but you should want to understand what is at stake for clients
Strong communication skills, follow-through, and relationship-building instincts
A proactive, organized, and solution-focused approach — you see what needs to happen and move it forward
Experience working cross-functionally with technical, delivery, marketing, and operations teams to solve problems and create momentum
Familiarity with CRM systems; HubSpot experience is preferred
