Basic Function:
The Associate Nurse Manager functions as the clinical manager of a unit for an assigned shift. Provides support to the nurse manager in the planning, education, coordination, staffing, and supervision of nursing care delivery to ensure efficient and effective patient care. Ensures compliance with departmental and regulatory standards of care and practice.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Currently licensed in New York State as an RN and a graduate of an approved school of nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required, MSN preferred. A minimum of three years experience in the acute care setting required, Endoscopy experienced preferred. ACLS certification is required and must be completed within 180 days of hire.

- The Associate Nurse Manager will work collaboratively with the nurse manager to plan, implement and monitor the nursing care delivery system to assure effective and efficient utilization of staff and other resources.
- As delegated by the Nurse Manager, the Associate Nurse Manager will assure that an adequate number of nursing personnel are scheduled and available to meet patient care needs.
- The Associate Nurse Manager, in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, will create an environment for staff participation in performance improvement activities that assures that the care of the particular patient population meets or exceeds institutional and regulatory standards.

Salary Range: $41.30-61.94/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
