Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
Assist in menu planning by suggesting new grilled items and seasonal specials that excite our guests
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely meal preparation and efficient service during busy periods
Utilize knife skills effectively for meat, vegetables, and other ingredients to achieve optimal presentation and flavor
Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of grilled foods with attention to detail

Requirements

Extensive culinary experience with a focus on grilling, food preparation, and fine dining environments
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking methods specific to grilling techniques
Restaurant or food industry experience demonstrating excellent food service skills
Proficiency in knife skills, food presentation, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
