About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Maxon Restaurant & Grill Inc as a Head Chef, where your culinary creativity will shine! Lead our kitchen in crafting delicious, high-quality dishes that delight our guests in the heart of Schenectady, NY.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute innovative menu items that reflect current food trends.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to maintain efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and storage.
Control food costs and manage inventory to minimize waste.
Collaborate with management to plan special events and seasonal menus.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks.
