As we expand our footprint, we’re seeking an experienced Office Manager with a strong plumbing background to lead our office operations and help us establish efficient systems from the ground up.

Position Overview

The Plumbing Office Manager will oversee all office operations, dispatching, customer service, and administrative functions. You will be critical in setting up the infrastructure of the business, managing day-to-day flow, and supporting both our licensed plumbers and leadership. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and deeply familiar with the unique pace of the plumbing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Operations: Oversee day-to-day office operations for a high-growth plumbing startup.
Dispatch & Logistics: Manage customer inquiries, emergency service calls, and dispatch for plumbing technicians.
Systems Management: Set up and maintain office systems, including invoicing, payroll, and accounting coordination.
Process Development: Create efficient workflows for job tracking, permit applications, and technician support.
Inventory & Vendors: Handle vendor relations, supply ordering, and plumbing parts/fixtures inventory management.
Financial Support: Assist leadership with financial tracking, reporting, and budgeting.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with Texas plumbing licenses (TSBPE), insurance, and local regulatory requirements.
Leadership: Train and supervise office staff as the team expands.
Standardization: Contribute to the development of company SOPs and office standards.

Qualifications

Industry Experience: 5+ years of office management experience specifically within a plumbing company (required).
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of plumbing scheduling, dispatching, and service workflows (residential and/or commercial).
Software Proficiency: Experience with industry-standard software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, FieldEdge, or similar).
Accounting: Proficiency with QuickBooks or equivalent accounting platforms.
Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills with a "customer-first" mentality.
Startup Mindset: Ability to thrive in a startup environment—flexible, resourceful, and ready to get hands-on.
