Full Job Description

Menzner Hardwoods Company is seeking long-term career employees interested in production/manufacturing for Scanner Operator, Rip-Saw, Moulder, Resaw, and Planer Operator roles. We are looking for hardworking, motivated, and dependable employees. Duties may include setting up and operating different machines and inspecting finished products for compliance with all quality requirements.

Qualifications: Candidates must be 18 years old, physically capable of lifting/maneuvering up to 30 lbs regularly, be capable of standing for 8 hours/shift, work well with coworkers in a team environment, and have solid work tenure in prior employment. Knowledge of LOTO and mechanical skills preferred.

First Shift Hours: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday. Second Shift Hours: 2:30 pm -10:30 pm, Monday-Friday. The shift includes a paid break and paid lunch. Overtime hours are required as production needs arise, which typically involve working 9-hour shifts during the week, and an occasional 6-hour shift on Saturdays.

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, long-term and short-term disability insurance, and flexible spending account (FSA) plan available 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. Affordable voluntary accident plan, critical illness plan, and 401k retirement plan with an employer match also available 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. Vacation accrual starts on your first day and is available to use after 30 days of employment, as well as attendance incentive days after six months. Up to 12 weeks paid Maternity Leave and 4 weeks Caregiver Leave available 1st of the month following 12 months of employment for full-time employees.
