Full Job Description

Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary Opportunity) Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite) Pay: $20-$25/hour Schedule: Full-time

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to identify an Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary assignment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals
Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
Assist with vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues in a timely manner
Support month-end closing activities, including AP reporting and accruals
Maintain organized and accurate records of invoices and payments
Assist with mail distribution and general administrative support for the accounting team

Qualifications:

1+ years of Accounts Payable or relevant accounting experience
Experience with invoice processing and vendor management preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
