Job Description
We are launching an exclusive, high-end supper club and cigar bar experience in the Scottdale, PA area. We are looking for a charismatic, skilled, and professional Bartender who can act as a true host, crafting exceptional cocktails, managing a sophisticated beverage program, and providing top-tier service in a luxury atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft Cocktail Excellence: Prepare and serve classic and innovative cocktails with precision, consistency, and flair.
- Cigar Bar Fluency: Maintain a strong working knowledge of cigar pairings, humidors, and spirit recommendations to guide guest choices.
- Guest Engagement: Act as a secondary host when needed, engaging guests across the bar top with warmth, poise, and conversational charm.
- Bar Maintenance: Manage daily bar inventory, restock supplies, maintain spotless cleanliness standards, and ensure proper stock rotation.
- POS & Systems: Utilize systems like Toast efficiently for ordering and tab management.
- Pace & Teamwork: Maintain a smooth, fast-paced workflow and upbeat demeanor during busy supper club dinner rushes and private events.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- RAMP Certification: Current Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) certification is strictly required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of high-volume bartending experience, preferably in an upscale lounge, fine dining, or craft cocktail environment.
- Knowledge: Strong familiarity with high-end spirits, wine lists, and cigar culture.
- Hospitality Mindset: Natural hospitality instincts, strong emotional maturity, and the ability to read a room and anticipate guest needs.
- Reliability: Impeccable punctuality, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Supper Club Dynamics, Dress Code & Service Standards:
- Comfortable operating in a dual-atmosphere environment that transitions from refined multi-course dining room service to a sophisticated, late-evening cigar and lounge ambiance.
- High emotional intelligence to curate individual guest experiences, matching the exclusivity and discretion expected in a private-feel landmark property.
- Dress Code & Uniform: Clean, polished presentation is strictly required. Strict adherence to required uniform compliance will be discussed and enforced upon hire.
