Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Mobile Cardiovascular Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality cardiovascular diagnostics and interventions across various clinical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in fast-paced environments, providing essential imaging and diagnostic services that directly impact patient outcomes. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will utilize your expertise in ECG readings and medical equipment operation to support cardiac diagnostics, and emergency care.

Responsibilities

Intravenous access placement and monitoring during stress testing.
Conduct telemetry monitoring to track patients’ cardiac rhythms and identify abnormalities promptly.
Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment such as Nassif cardiac imaging for stress testing.
Execute cardiac stress tests and diagnostic evaluations to assess heart function under various conditions.
Analyze cardiac rhythms, interpret vital signs, and document findings accurately for physicians’ review.
Maintain strict aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and prevent infections.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to cardiovascular care.
Support emergency response efforts, BLS and ACLS required training.

Requirements

Proven experience in cardiac catheterization, BLS and ACLS.
Strong background in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm analysis.
Knowledge of cardiovascular technology and medical equipment operation.
Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques such as stress testing and cardiac diagnostics.
Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and emergency medicine settings.
Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques.
Certification or licensure as required by state or local regulations for cardiovascular technicians is necessary. Preferred Paramedic or RN certifications. BLS and ACLS required.
