Full Job Description

General Summary

Looking for a motivated team player that is prompt, honest, friendly, and looking for work in a fast-paced health and wellness center with a family like atmosphere.

We are a multidisciplinary office that offers chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage, and nutritional counseling. This role works directly with the chiropractic patient base.

As the main point of contact at the front desk in our office, you are needed to support the doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities

Schedule new and existing patient appointments
Verify insurance
Greet and check patients in and out
Answer phones, retrieve messages
Collect co-pays and past balances
Enter and access patient records in multiple programs (x-ray, EHR)
Update patient information, ensuring all records are current
Request prior authorizations and follow up on referrals
Perform opening and closing office tasks
Instruct patients on doctor's recommendations and follow up care
Communicate with attorney offices and lien filing
Complete daily reporting

Skills

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks between phones, computers, patients, and doctors
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communications
Proficient knowledge in insurances
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel and patient management software
Detail oriented
Adaptable
Self-starter and enjoys working with others

Additional information:

Hourly pay with bonus; Accrued vacation
Benefits – Medical Insurance stipend. Employee discounts.
Work hours – Full time, Monday through Thursday
Work location – One location
