About Us:

DiMaggio’s Italian Restaurant is Scottsdale’s hottest and highest-rated Italian dining destination — known for authentic “Little Italy” style cuisine, a lively atmosphere, and exceptional service. We’re passionate about delivering a true Italian dining experience, and we’re looking for professional, dependable food runners to join our growing team.

Position Summary:

We are seeking food runners with restaurant experience who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is polished, reliable, team-oriented, and has a strong sense of urgency. You’ll work closely with servers, managers, and the kitchen team to ensure food is delivered quickly, accurately, and with proper presentation.

Requirements:

Minimum 1+ years of restaurant experience in a full-service or upscale restaurant
Ability to stand, walk, and carry plates/trays for extended periods
Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and Italian cuisine
Excellent communication, organization and guest service skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Uphold sanitation, cleanliness, and Department of Health standards
Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned
Support teammates, managers, and chefs to ensure smooth operations
Assist with guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally
Attend pre-service meetings, trainings, and staff development session
Team-oriented attitude with a sense of urgency
Must be available for evening and weekend shifts
