Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assitant General Manager to support the day-to-day operations and help lead our team to continued success with hospitality at the forefront. This role works closely with the General Manager and Sommelier to oversee staff, budgets, and operational execution while maintaining high standars of service, efficiency, and professionalism.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader, confident decision maker, and hands on manager who thrives in a fast paced environment. You will play a key role in developing our team, optimizing operations, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the business.

Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations
Assist in executing strategies and goals for growth and performance
Help manage budgets, control costs, and optimize expenses
Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards
Lead, coach, and motivate staff to ensure productivity and professional development
Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and financial performance
Monitor and help improve operational and financial performance
Participate in employee evaluations and performance reviews
Prepare reports and communicate operational updates to upper management
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
Help resolve operational challenges, employee concerns, and guest issues
Scheduling for all staff

Skills

Proven experience as an Assitant General Manager, Manager, or similar leadership role
Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
Strong understanding of operations, HR practices, and financial basics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and leadership abilities
Analytical mindset with a problem solving approach
Ability to lead by example in a fast paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
