About us

Arizona Research Center is a nationally recognized pharmaceutical research facility. We are seeking candidates to join our team who are motivated by the opportunity to grow in the field, learn and advance in the research industry, and help us move towards continued success by joining our team and adding their personal flair and professional expertise to our incredible team.

We are seeking Clinical Research Coordinators at multiple experience levels—from entry-level candidates with strong clinical or health science backgrounds to experienced CRCs ready to take on complex studies.

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will support and coordinate all aspects of assigned clinical trials, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulatory requirements. This role includes direct patient interaction, data collection and entry, regulatory support, and frequent collaboration with investigators, sponsors, and internal staff.

Entry-level candidates will receive structured training and close mentorship. Experienced CRCs will have the opportunity to lead studies more independently and help mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day operational activities for assigned clinical trials from start-up through close-out.
Screen, recruit, and consent potential study participants in accordance with protocol, IRB, and ethical guidelines.
Schedule and conduct study visits; collect and document medical history, vital signs, questionnaires, and other protocol-specific assessments within scope of practice.
Accurately maintain source documents and complete case report forms (CRFs) and electronic data capture (EDC) entries; resolve data queries in a timely manner.
Maintain regulatory and study files, including study binders, essential documents, and logs; assist with IRB submissions, amendments, and continuing reviews.
Assist with investigational product accountability (if applicable): receipt, storage, dispensing coordination, and reconciliation per protocol and pharmacy procedures.
Communicate effectively with principal investigators, sponsors, CROs, monitors, and internal team members.
Prepare for and participate in site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits, as well as audits and inspections.
Educate participants about study procedures, visit schedules, and follow-up requirements; serve as a primary point of contact throughout participation.
Track enrollment and visit completion; contribute to process improvements to support study quality, efficiency, and participant experience.

The successful candidate must have:

Interest in and commitment to a career in clinical research.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfort working with participants from diverse backgrounds.
Basic proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and electronic systems.
Proven track record of reliability.
The ability to work and solve problems independently.

Preferred, but not required:

Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., Nursing, Biology, Public Health, Psychology, or similar)
1–2+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or in a clinical research role.
Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA regulations, and HIPAA.
Experience with EDC systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
Clinical Research certification (e.g., ACRP or SoCRA) or interest in pursuing certification.
