Full Job Description

Core Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
5+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Preferred Requirements:

CPA and/or MBA
Experience in a SOX-compliant environment
ERP proficiency

The successful Controller for our client will serve as the senior financial leader for the business, providing strategic guidance that drives operational performance, financial discipline, and long-term profitability. This leader will partner closely with executive and operational leadership to oversee financial planning, reporting, internal controls, and business analysis while developing a high-performing finance organization.

Responsibilities:

Provide financial leadership for all accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting activities across the business
Deliver meaningful financial analysis that supports strategic planning, capital investments, operational improvements, and profit growth
Safeguard the integrity of financial reporting by maintaining strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness
Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, cash flow, and key financial metrics while identifying risks and opportunities to improve business performance
Build a high-performing finance organization by strengthening processes, developing talent, and enhancing reporting capabilities
