We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accounting Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support our financial operations by managing bookkeeping tasks, assisting with data entry, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Your organizational skills and positive attitude will help keep our office running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

Assist Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.
Perform data entry in our accounting software to maintain accurate financial records
Assist with expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping duties
Support office management tasks such as filing, document proofreading, and maintaining organized records
Enter new accounts and handle obtain credit references.
Provide general administrative support including typing, proofreading.
Requirements
Proven office experience with strong clerical skills and familiarity with office management procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Gmail and computer literacy
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong typing skills and attention to detail for data entry and proofreading tasks
Experience with phone etiquette, and customer service best practices
Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting support is highly desirable
