Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Production Planning & Data Analyst and become a vital driver of manufacturing excellence! In this role, you will harness your expertise in production management, supply chain analytics, and data analysis to optimize manufacturing processes, streamline operations, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your insights will empower our plant management and operations teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently and effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence production workflows, enhance supply chain performance, and contribute to a culture of lean manufacturing and process innovation.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret operational, manufacturing, and supply chain data from SAP and other enterprise systems to support informed, day-to-day business decisions.
Utilize SAP to support production planning functions, including schedule evaluation, capacity analysis, and production order tracking.
Participate in SAP Production Planning (PP) training and apply acquired knowledge to enhance operational efficiency.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards to effectively communicate KPIs, production performance, and key business metrics.
Write and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data for reporting and analytical use.
Improve data integrity and reporting accuracy by identifying discrepancies, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
Provide data-driven insights to support production scheduling and planning teams, enhancing decision-making and reporting capabilities.
Build scalable data models and analytical frameworks aligned with business and operational needs.
Apply automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline routine analysis and improve overall efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, engineering, and production planning teams to deliver impactful technical and data solutions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance data and recommending actionable enhancements.
Ensure adherence to data governance standards through proper documentation, validation processes, and reporting controls.
Participate in onboarding, system training, and continuous learning initiatives to strengthen expertise in SAP, analytics tools, and operational systems.
Provide regular reporting, insights, and updates to leadership in support of ongoing projects and performance reviews.
Maintain and communicate daily production reports, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
Support production optimization initiatives and special projects, working closely with supervisors, maintenance teams, and cross-functional partners as needed.
Assist with production planning and scheduling activities, including serving as backup scheduler when required.
Promote and enforce adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures within the production environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in production management, manufacturing operations, or supply chain analytics within a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Previous experience in production coordination or planning is preferred.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes to support effective cross-functional communication.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement techniques, and quality control standards.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights for operations teams.
Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments including plant management, operations, and supply chain teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field preferred. Embark on a career that challenges you to innovate continuously!
