Full Job Description

Position Summary

People’s Place is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly qualified Director of Domestic Violence Clinical Services to provide clinical and administrative leadership for Turning Point, our comprehensive domestic violence counseling, intervention, advocacy, and prevention program.

Turning Point provides trauma-informed therapy and advocacy services for survivors of domestic violence and children affected by domestic violence. The program also operates a State of Delaware-certified treatment program for individuals who have committed domestic violence offenses and provides domestic violence prevention programming in public schools.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide overall clinical and administrative leadership for Turning Point.

· Hire, supervise, support, and evaluate clinical and program staff.

· Provide clinical leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality, consistent services.

· Oversee therapy and advocacy services for survivors of domestic violence and children affected by domestic violence.

· Oversee the state-certified domestic violence offender treatment program.

· Provide oversight of domestic violence prevention and education programming delivered in public schools.

· Ensure services meet applicable licensing, certification, contractual, ethical, and professional standards.

· Monitor program quality, service delivery, documentation, and outcomes.

· Promote trauma-informed, evidence-based, and survivor-centered practices throughout the program.

· Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners and service providers.

· Represent Turning Point and People’s Place through statewide committees, meetings, and collaborative initiatives.

· Identify opportunities to strengthen services and respond to emerging client, staff, and community needs.

Required Qualifications

· Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.

· Appropriate professional licensure in the State of Delaware.

· Experience working in domestic violence, trauma, interpersonal violence, or a closely related field.

· At least two years of supervisory experience within a trauma-informed program.

· Strong clinical, administrative, organizational, and program-management skills.

· Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and support multidisciplinary staff.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills.

· Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and high-quality care.

Position Details

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Milford, Delaware. The position is on-site and is not remote. Some travel and participation on statewide committees are required.
