Full Job Description

Job Overview
Tire/Auto lube technician

Primary duties: Install, balance, repair, and rotate tires on various vehicles, including trucks and commercial vehicles. They may also install valve stems and tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).

Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, checking and topping off fluids, and basic vehicle inspections.

Physical strength and stamina for lifting and handling tires, attention to detail when inspecting tires, and knowledge of how to use tools like torque wrenches correctly. Familiarity with vehicle lift systems, oil change equipment, and safety protocols. Customer service skills are also essential due to the high volume of customers.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lube-Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire services, and other essential repairs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with automotive repair skills or a mechanic background to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Technician will play a vital role in ensuring vehicle safety and performance while providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Perform oil changes and fluid replacements efficiently and accurately using hand tools and power tools
Conduct tire rotations, tire replacement and tire services to manufacturer specifications
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements and fluid top-offs
Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
Assist in sales efforts by recommending additional maintenance or repair services when appropriate
Heavy lifting of vehicles or parts may be required during service procedures

Experience

Automotive repair background preferred.
Service technician experience with knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems is highly desirable
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment used in vehicle servicing
Prior experience performing oil changes, tire services, and general vehicle maintenance
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills is essential
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
