Full Job Description

Federal Quality Control Manager/Superintendent for various construction projects in Presidio of Monterey. This is a 5-year contract.

Quality Control Manager (QCM) - position requires the implementation, documentation, and execution of Quality Control including but not limited to:

- Creating and maintaining a safe work environment
- Making sure the project complies with plans, standards, specifications, and construction practices
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports
- Define QC policies and procedures related to the project
- Compliance with contract requirements
- Inspect field sites and identify any problems
- Help define QC policies and procedures
- Review contract documents to create submittals and upload into RMS.
- Review subcontract agreements

Qualifications:

5+ yrs experience
Government project experience preferred
Should possess basic computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office
A thorough knowledge of all construction related trades
OSHA 30

Experience with Federal contracting preferred
CQM Trained

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for safety management of the project
- Conduct site specific safety orientation
- Coordinate site safety meetings
- Develop and implement Safety Programs
- Reviews history of accidents and claims and prepares reports and recommendations as required
- Coordinates safety of the project as a whole schedule, loss history, upcoming activities, etc. and provides stimulus for proactive loss control efforts.
- Conduct accident investigations

- Provide corrective/preventive action
- Administers and Assures the proper use of productive equipment

Preferred Qualifications
- Federal Government construction project experience
- OSHA 30-hour
- EM-385-1 experience
- Additional Construction Safety Related Training is a plus

- Proficient in QCS/RMS software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project

- Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
