As Chief Medical Executive, this leader will champion measurable quality improvements, strengthen physician engagement, and guide strategic growth initiatives aligned with national best practices. The Chief Physician Officer will oversee Clinical Operations, working closely with leaders across Clinical Affairs and Medical Affairs to ensure seamless interdisciplinary collaboration and exceptional standards of care. This level 3 trauma center provides high-acuity exposure and complex case management within a supportive, team-oriented culture. Physicians, advanced practice providers, and friendly, highly skilled nurses practice in a collaborative environment built on mutual respect, shared governance principles, and evidence-based protocols. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Medical Officer will guide department chairs and medical staff leaders, oversee credentialing and peer review processes, support regulatory readiness, and advance strategic physician recruitment and retention initiatives. A diverse healthcare professional team across pharmacy, therapy services, case management, and social work ensures integrated care delivery and strong operational performance.
