Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are a mid-sized, multi-state law firm seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including contracts, real estate and transactions. This role requires excellent legal drafting skills, the ability to conduct thorough research using Westlaw, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. The Attorney will work collaboratively within a law office environment and will be responsible for managing cases from inception to resolution.

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive attorney to join our team. In this role, you will:

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and business objectives.
Provide expert guidance on lease agreements, purchase and sales contracts, and related transactional matters.
Conduct legal research and risk analysis to support client needs and business operations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in legal proceedings and negotiations.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in Washington.
3-5 years experience in transactional, contract or real estate law is preferred.
Strong legal writing and drafting skills with attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
