- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, criminal justice administration, information systems or law enforcement with coursework in statistical analysis, criminal behavior or constitutional law; AND demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and conduct program evaluations; AND one year experience in a law enforcement agency; OR

Associates degree; AND five years’ law enforcement experience.

A valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.

ACCESS level I certification required within 6 months of hire.

Bachelor's degree with emphasis on math, statistics, criminal justice, behavioral science, business analytics, intelligence/homeland security, data science or other related field.

The most competitive candidates will have experience working with or at a police department, intelligence center and/or within the criminal justice system.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, mobility, grasping, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting, most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Some positions may require greater periods of walking and/or standing.
