Full Job Description

Are you great at social media and interested in real estate? Willing to help me in social media while I help you with your real estate?I’m hiring a licensed Real Estate Assistant to support both content creation (social media) and day-to-day real estate operations.

This is a hybrid role where you’ll be actively involved in:

Creating real estate content (Reels, YouTube, etc.)
Supporting live deals (showings, inspections, listings)

The ideal candidate will also have strong social media and/or mobile video skills to assist with marketing projects, including filming home walkthrough videos and helping create social media content or short scripts.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on staying one step ahead, exercises sound business judgment, and can move seamlessly between strategic thinking and detailed execution. The right candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable supporting a busy agent whose work spans many types of projects.

Compensation and Responsibilities:
Based on past year’s sales, you can expect to make ~$58,000 + commissions. This is broken down by the following pay and responsibilities:

Social Media Responsibilities(Compensation $3000/month):

Short form (IG)
1 home tour video/week
Get agent permission, film, create 2 draft versions (VO + music)
I choose 1 → you finalize (captions, edits, polish)
Post + engage
1 additional video/week
Real estate, local spots, Seattle lifestyle, neighborhood food tour, etc
Script, film, edit
Present 2 drafts > finalize, add subtitles to 1 after approval
Post + engage
Carousel post 1x/wk
Long Form
1 video/month (plan + oversee implementation of plan with me + videographer)
Create description, title, thumbnail
Performance requirement for long form video: 1,000+ views AND 1% like ratio
If not hit → must rework (edit, re-film, or replace) by next month
Rework is in addition to new monthly video

Client Support/Real Estate Responsibilities (Per Diem Compensation, as listed below)

Showings: $50 each home (schedule, report notes to me after showing)
Inspections: $200 each (schedule buyer and home inspector/ sewer inspector, attend, report findings to me immediately after)
Builder or Final walkthroughs: $50 each
Ribbon cutting setup: $50
Host Brian’s Open House: $100
Set up listing: $100 (clean/assemble/install placards, leafblow/vacuum, waters, supra setup, garbage back, booties, print/setup media//flyers/blinder, sign light)
3D scan/upload/QC: $100-200
Listing social video+post: $
Digital Listing: $100 (floor plan, flyer, seller letter/list, features/finishes, design binder, placard design)
Upload supplements/upload photos/update showingtime/QC listing: $25
YouTube listing post research/design/upload/ad spend: $100
Pick up supra/contractor keybox: $25
Sold strip install/video footage: $50
Appliance/System photos/“home care manual”: $50
Commission payout: Assistant can make their own sales.
I will mentor Assistant for the first two sales at a 50/50 commission split and 80/20 for each additional client. And, Assistant benefits from my reputation and commission structure with COMPASS as one of the top producing agents.

Future Opportunities for Promotion and/or increased Pay:
As you learn and grow with the role, you have the opportunity to either become a partner agent, or if you prefer the stability of the assistant role, there is plenty of opportunity for promotion and/or new responsibilities with increased pay including, but not limited to:

Opportunity to take on newsletters (monthly + weekly)
Increased pay + expanded role based on performance

I am a busy individual real estate agent with a thriving real estate practice. My small team consists of myself, a transaction coordinator, and a listing manager. As we are a small team, you will be working directly with me, though much of the role requires that you can productively complete tasks on your own. Requirements to apply:

Must have active real estate license
Reliable transportation: due to the nature of this role public transport is not feasible, you must have your own vehicle.
Social Media Track Record (Required)
Instagram profile with 500+ followers, demonstrating meaningful engagement
Portfolio of at least 10 recent Reels or short‑form videos you have created, filmed, or edited (personal, client, or brand work all acceptable).
Can film, edit, and move quickly without hand-holding
Comfortable being on camera and storytelling in short‑form video

Pay: $55,730.26 - $100,000.00 per year
