Career Opportunity: Experience Concierge

Location: The Monarch by Luly Yang - Kirkland, WA (Full-Time, In-Office)

About Us

Luly Yang is an award-winning Seattle-based designer and founder of Luly Yang Couture and the Luly Yang Design Group (LYDG). Established in 2000, the company began as a couture bridal and eveningwear house and has since evolved into a multifaceted design business spanning couture, ready-to-wear, travel, and corporate uniform programs. Rooted in a philosophy of “form and function,” the brand combines artistry with practical performance— drawing from Luly’s background in architecture and graphic design to create pieces that are both elegant and purposeful. The Monarch is more than a boutique; it is a groundbreaking "Experience Center and Community Hub" designed to blend the worlds of couture fashion, fine art, and luxury hospitality.

Position Overview

The Experience Concierge will be the face of the Monarch, responsible for executing and orchestrating world-class client journeys and fostering a vibrant community environment where art and design converge. You are a hybrid leader—part high-end hospitality provider, part brand ambassador, and part gallery curator. You will be responsible for the "total experience" of every guest who walks through our doors, ensuring that the atmosphere, service, and programming reflect the prestige of the Luly Yang brand. You will collaborate closely with our internal and external creative partners to ensure the space is both a high-performing business and a soulful community hub.

Accountabilities

Experience Orchestration: Design and execute the end-to-end client journey, from the moment a guest enters the Monarch to the delivery of a bespoke couture piece.
Community Hub Leadership: Perform the daily operations of the Monarch, ensuring the space functions seamlessly as a retail environment, an art gallery, and a gathering spot for curated events.
VIP Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for VIP clients, managing high-touch consultations and maintaining long-term relationships with our most valued patrons.
Events & Programming: Conceptualize and host a calendar of exclusive events, including art gallery openings, community gatherings, and fashion previews that position the Monarch as a cultural destination in Kirkland.
Operational Excellence: Manage external providers, overseeing scheduling, training, and performance to ensure a consistent, five-star level of service.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Kirkland (LYDG) and Seattle (LYC) teams to align on brand standards and support broader business initiatives, including special projects and seasonal collections.

Qualifications

Hospitality & Luxury Expert: You have a background of at least five (5) years in international hospitality, luxury retail, or concierge services. You understand true luxury lies in the details.
Natural Connector: You are warm, approachable, and possess an innate ability to make people feel welcome. You are a "super-connector" who enjoys building community.
Exceptional Communication: Mastery of verbal and written communication, with the ability to navigate complex social situations with grace.
Culturally Fluent: You have a genuine passion for global art, fashion, and luxury lifestyle. You speak authentically with artists, designers, and collectors alike.
Brand Alignment: A deep appreciation for technical craftsmanship, couture fashion, and the intersection of art and utility.
Strategic Operator: While you are "front-of-house" by nature, you are also an organized leader who understands business operations.
