Full Job Description

As a Solution Architect you will lead the Canviz solution delivery team to architect, develop, deploy, and maintain custom web, cloud, mobile, and desktop applications. You will work with clients, business analysts, technical leads, designers, lead developers, and testers throughout the development lifecycle to architect and implement solutions. You will be working with cutting edge technologies, primarily within the Microsoft stack, including Microsoft Azure and Office 365.

Project Location(s): Kirkland WA

Compensation: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Define solution architecture, generating detailed technical designs for use in development efforts
Facilitate and/or create technical proof of concepts (POC)
Work with the development team to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
Assist in requirement discussions to advise on technical implications and options
Own and drive complex and critical path development tasks to completion
Work with the test team to automate and validate production deployments
Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and architects throughout the project lifecycle

Skills/Experience

Required Job Skills

5+ years’ experience working as a senior software developer / team lead
BA in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent required
Experience in web development
Experience working with Microsoft Azure
Experience working with Office 365 and SharePoint and the Power Platform
Experience in Microsoft web application development with ASP.NET MVC
Experience with Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical and non-technical issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive work approach and the ability to lead and make informed technical decisions
Experience creating technical architecture documentation and diagrams

Nice To Have Job Skills

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Experience working with off-shore development teams
Experience with mobile application development
