GO PT is a Physical Therapist owned private practice. Providing Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy services in Seattle, in both the South Lake Union and Queen Anne neighborhoods. Being patient-oriented, we are committed to helping people live an active, pain-free life by offering one-on-one treatment and direct, regular contact with their Physical Therapist.

Job description

GO PT is looking for an Office Manager (OM) who is friendly, responsible, and excited to work in a small business where they can help shape the future of a growing company. The OM is responsible for managing the Patient Care Coordinator employees and the administrative side of the clinic. The OM will report directly to the Director of Administration and Human Resources (DA/HR) and work with them and other OMs to problem solve and plan new initiatives. The ideal candidate has had experience working in medical scheduling, verifying insurance benefits, and understanding medical billing practices. They have experience as a manager, are a great problem solver and work well as a leader but also as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Supervise the work of office employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
Resolve patient complaints or answer patient’s questions regarding policies, procedures, and insurance related inquiries.
Work with third party billing team to solve issues with claims, benefit coordination and verification, authorization, etc
Review reports pertaining to activities such as production, payroll, or shipping to verify details, monitor work activities, or evaluate performance.
Conduct annual reviews and discuss job performance problems with employees to identify causes and issues and to work on resolving problems.
Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for office or administrative staff.
Recruit, interview, and select employees, and then train or instruct those employees in job duties or company policies
Provide coverage for the front desk at either clinic location (SLU and QA)
Be able to commute between clinics when needed (commuter benefit available)
Develop or update procedures, policies, or standards.
Coordinate with vendors as need arises
Occasionally assist with marketing projects
Assist in planning and coordinating company events, birthdays, and meetings
Maintain records pertaining to inventory, personnel, orders, supplies, or machine maintenance.

Requirements

Work 40-hrs per week, Monday through Friday.
Experience in medical office management or healthcare administration with a focus on clinic operations
Experience with EMR systems, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to effectively build relationships with patients, coworkers and leadership.
Comfortable working independently without regular instruction.
Demonstrate flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Must have a basic understanding and ability to use Google Suite and Microsoft Office software.
Must be able to type a minimum of 40 WPM

Salary

$52,000.00 - $66,560.00 per year DOE
