Full Job Description

A well-established intellectual property law firm is seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal (5277) to join its growing practice. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned trademark professional with experience managing domestic and international trademark portfolios who enjoys working independently while providing exceptional client service. The firm prefers a Seattle-area candidate for a hybrid schedule but is also open to highly qualified remote candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day administration of domestic and international trademark portfolios.
Review and maintain trademark dockets and produce portfolio reports.
Prepare, file, and manage U.S. and international trademark applications, including filings under the Madrid Protocol.
Coordinate trademark assignments, ownership changes, and related filings.
Conduct trademark searches and research using CorSearch and other databases.
Correspond directly with clients, attorneys, and foreign associates.
Support foreign infringement, opposition, cancellation, and invalidation matters through research, evidence collection, and coordination with foreign counsel.
Collaborate with attorneys and other departments on special projects and client initiatives.

Qualifications:

5+ years of trademark paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm environment.
Experience managing domestic and international trademark prosecution and docketing.
Strong knowledge of the Madrid Protocol and global trademark filing procedures.
Experience conducting trademark searches using CorSearch or similar research platforms.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high-volume workload independently.
Proven ability to provide exceptional client service while supporting multiple attorneys.
