Aquatics Manager

As an Aquatics Lead, you would be working with the management team to help us create a fun yet professional environment by providing our customers and their children with a great learning experience. You’ll work closely with the regional manager, our swim instructors, and the franchise owner to help shape our school’s culture and commitment to running a smooth operation.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
Weekend availability and reliable transportation is required.
COMPENSATION:
Pay: From $23.00+ per hour depending on experience
This role can quickly add compensation and responsibility as the company grows.
CURRENT POOL HOURS:
We currently teach classes 6 days a week across 8 different locations. Weekday pool hours vary between 3:30pm-8:15pm; Weekend pool hours vary between 9:00am-3:00pm.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel to pools in the North Seattle area
- Teach the British Swim School program curriculum to children and adults as a lead instructor
- Report to Regional Manager with location and staff information
- Provide onboarding and training for new swim instructors according to the established BSS curriculum
- Maintain lesson quality and safety across pools using BSS methods & tools
- Evaluate swim instructor performance and create performance improvement plans as necessary
- Offer guidance and support to staff at all locations
- Manage difficult class and student situations
- Collaborate with Regional Manager to plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings
- Assist with business growth and attracting new customers
- Ensure classes are running smoothly and customers are happy
- Maintain onsite inventory and checklists
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience in the world of swimming and fitness teaching/management – A specialist aquatics qualification is desirable but not required
- Experience working with children and a passion for our mission of water safety and survival
- Experience with setting and maintaining standards for a business – especially if its child related
