I'm partnering with a highly respected Seattle litigation boutique that is looking to add a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to its team. This is a compelling opportunity for an attorney who enjoys complex civil litigation, wants meaningful responsibility from day one, and is looking to build a long-term career within a collaborative and highly regarded practice.

The firm handles a sophisticated mix of matters, including insurance coverage disputes, business and commercial litigation, high-exposure personal injury cases, and trusts and estates litigation. Attorneys receive significant client contact, substantive case ownership, and direct mentorship from experienced litigators.

What You'll Do

Manage civil litigation matters through all stages of the case lifecycle
Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and other litigation documents
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
Collaborate closely with partners on complex and high-profile matters

Qualifications

4+ years of civil litigation experience in Washington
Insurance coverage experience strongly preferred
Strong academic credentials
Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
Desire to take on increasing responsibility and sophisticated litigation work

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $142,000 - $225,000, depending on experience
Performance bonuses:
- $10,000 at 1,600 billable hours
- $20,000 at 1,700 billable hours
- $35,000 at 1,800 billable hours
