Full Job Description

Position: Senior Paralegal
Reports to: Attorney
Location: Seattle, WA
Salary: $90,000-$120,000
Type: Full-Time

Emery | Reddy, PC is a boutique litigation firm distinguished by its advocacy on behalf of workers in employment law and related civil litigation. We seek to expand our team with a seasoned Senior Paralegal who possesses both the depth of litigation experience and the professional versatility to thrive in a high-impact, client-centered environment. This is a key role within a fast-paced litigation team that values precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to client service.

The successful candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational discipline, a strong working knowledge of litigation processes and court systems, and the ability to operate as a primary liaison of coordination between attorneys, clients, courts, and third parties. This individual must be confident managing complex workflows, communicating critical case developments, and ensuring seamless execution of procedural requirements across all stages of litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive litigation support throughout the lifecycle of a case.
Draft, review, and manage legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, under the guidance of supervising attorneys.
Organize, maintain, and manage large volumes of case-related documents and data in compliance with firm protocols and court standards.
Supervise and support junior staff in the collection and organization of evidentiary materials, including employment documents; ensure accuracy and completeness of assembled records.
Utilize legal practice management software (e.g., Clio) to track deadlines, manage case workflows, and coordinate with attorneys and legal assistants to ensure timely execution of case tasks.
Facilitate communication with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel with professionalism and clarity.
Lead or participate in internal training and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience, with a strong preference for employment law and/or class action litigation.
Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred.
Extensive experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
Proficiency in Lexis and/or WestLaw.
Strong writing, proofreading, and analytical skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and legal calendaring/task management systems.
In-depth knowledge of Washington state and federal court rules, including local rules and e-filing procedures.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
Team-oriented with the ability to mentor junior staff and support firm-wide objectives.
