About Us:

At Academy of Salon Professionals, we're dedicated to nurturing the next generation of beauty experts. Our vibrant community is all about creativity, growth, and excellence in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics and nail technology. As our Guest Service Specialist you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the friendly and professional atmosphere that makes our academy special.

What You'll Do:

As our Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the heartbeat of our academy, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Warm Welcomes: Greet students, clients, and visitors with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
Smooth Operations: Manage appointment bookings, phone calls, retail sales and help guests navigate services available.
Student Support: Assist students with inquiries and offer general support to enhance their experience.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with our educators and staff to maintain a seamless and supportive environment.
Daily Organization: Keep the retail/reception area organized and ensure all materials and supplies are readily available.

What We're Looking For:

Sales: Ability to assist guests with retail purchases and encourage service sales.
People Person: Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine love for interacting with people.
Organized and Efficient: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Professional and Polished: As the first impression of our company, a professional and/or trendy appearance is required that includes hair and makeup.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in basic computer applications and comfortable learning new systems.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
