Experiential Retail Stylist
True West Hats is more than a retail store—it is a working design studio where craftsmanship, storytelling, personal style, and genuine connection come together and we are expanding our team. We create heirloom-quality handmade hats and invite each guest into a thoughtful, highly personalized design experience.
Our approach is experiential. Guests do not simply shop for a hat; they discover the shape, color, materials, and details that express who they are and how they live.
We are looking for a warm, creative, team-minded person who loves working with people and feels confident guiding them through a meaningful decision-making process.

We provide training in our products, materials, craftsmanship, styling, and custom design process. Personal presence, good judgment, curiosity, and exceptional people skills matter most.
What you’ll do:
- Welcome each guest and create an engaging, personalized experience
- Guide clients through the custom hat design process
- Help guests select flattering shapes, colors, proportions, hatbands, and finishing details
- Share the stories, materials, techniques, and craftsmanship behind our hats and all other products in the store
- Introduce guests to our curated collection of bags, boots, jewelry, hatbands, and accessories
- Build lasting relationships with local clients and visitors from around the world
- Follow up with clients and support special orders when needed
- Contribute to individual and storewide sales goals
- Maintain a beautiful, organized, and elevated environment
- Communicate professionally and work collaboratively with the entire team
- Support daily store operations, merchandising, opening and closing responsibilities, and special events
Experience Needed:
- Boutique hospitality or luxury retail
- Art, fashion, interior design, jewelry, personal styling, or other creative fields
- Wine tasting rooms, spas, galleries, or experience-driven businesses
- Artisan markets, design studios, or handmade-product environments
- Client service roles centered on relationship-building and personal attention
