Full Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with QuickBooks and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). This role is perfect for someone who enjoys maintaining organized financial records, managing transactions, and assisting with general accounting functions in a small business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
Record and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Manage bank deposits, credit card reconciliations, and expense tracking.
Prepare and review financial reports and summaries as requested.
Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Organize digital and paper files for accounting and compliance purposes.
Communicate with vendors, clients, and staff regarding billing and payments.
Perform general office and administrative accounting support as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (not required).

Work Environment

Primarily on-site with potential for limited remote work.
Flexible part-time schedule (typically 16–24 hours per week).
Professional, team-oriented small business environment
