Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Feed Store Supervisor to lead our retail operation with enthusiasm and expertise. In this role, you will oversee daily store activities, help manage inventory, and ensure exceptional customer service. You must be able to lift over 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day. You will operate machinery to unload pallets, and hay bundles. The ideal candidate will understand this is a fast paced, labor intensive, outdoor setting. You will drive sales growth, streamline operations, and foster a positive team environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and possesses strong skills to motivate staff and deliver outstanding retail experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the retail industry within the agricultural and animal feed sector.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily store operations, including opening, closing, to ensure smooth workflow.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product knowledge, and resolving issues promptly.
Help train, develop, and motivate team members in sales techniques, product knowledge, POS systems, and customer engagement strategies.
Help handle purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and health regulations.
Help care for animals on-site and organize planning for animal experiences.

Experience

Proven experience in retail store operations or farming operation with supervisory responsibilities.
Extensive retail sales experience within the grocery or agricultural supply industry preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in inventory systems (POS systems), bookkeeping, and basic math skills.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience in training & development, and operational oversight.
Familiarity with merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and store presentation standards.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $32,000.00 per year
