Role Overview
This is a high-impact, dual-role position responsible for both administrative excellence and growing our catering business.
You will be the point person for each guest’s catering experience, from first contact to final follow-up.
This role is not a desk-only position. It requires someone who is energized by a fast-paced environment, comfortable being on their feet, and motivated to improve systems, increase efficiency and drive results and growth.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

Maintain organization, structure, and administrative excellence for the leadership team

Manage office operations including:
a. Phones, emails, packages, etc.
b. Daily time punch accuracy
c. Deposits and change funds
a. Assist in coordinating employee recognition, birthdays, and milestones
b. Ensure a clean, organized, and highly functional office environment
c. Support leadership with tracking systems (logs, journals, accountability tools)
d. Follow up on guest care opportunities (recovery, notes, documentation)
Catering Coordinator Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end catering experience:

Taking orders (phone, in-person, online)

Creating quotes and coordinating details

Communicating clearly with kitchen leaders

Execute catering orders by:
a. Preparing, assembling, and delivering orders as needed
b. Ensuring accuracy, presentation, and timeliness

Create memorable guest experiences through:
a. Proactive communication and follow-up
b. Problem-solving and recovery when needed

Track and grow catering business:
a. Maintain detailed records of orders, guests, and invoices
b. Follow up on unpaid invoices and ensure timely payments
c. Monitor sales performance and identify growth opportunities

Maintain catering systems:
a. Inventory tracking (supplies, bags, equipment)
b. Catering vehicle documentation and compliance

Partner with leadership to:
a. Set goals and strategies for catering growth
b. Improve systems, efficiency, and throughput

Support special events including Clemson home game tailgates
Work Environment & Expectations

Schedule: Typically Monday–Friday (8am–4pm) with flexibility required. Includes two Saturdays per month and availability for events/tailgates.
