Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with experience in electrical systems, residential painting, and the ability to supervise tasks effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. There may be sometimes where you will have to work at a location overnight when the store is closed to get the job done. We will provide a company van, business credit card, company phone, fuel card, hotel expense are covered by company also.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements.
Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.
Assist in residential painting projects as required.
Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in facility operations.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs.
Experience supervising teams or projects is preferred.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to safety standards.
