Full Job Description

Position:

Z-AXIS, Inc., a growing electronics manufacturer is looking for a candidate for the position of Receptionist & Accounting Specialist. This position will support the Accounting department with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties. Serve Z-AXIS visitors and customers by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately. This is a key position on the Z-AXIS team, reporting to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

· Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone.

· Directs visitors by notifying company personnel of their arrival.

· Maintain visitor security by following procedures and issuing visitor badges.

· Preparing and mailing invoices to customers and posting payments to customer accounts.

· Organizing and filing deposit receipts as invoices are paid.

· Prepare reports on delinquent accounts and collections activities.

· Match accounts payables invoices to packing slips and working with the Receiving department.

· Data entry on vendor invoices and working with the Purchasing department.

· Monthly reconciliations and journal entries and assist in yearly outside audits

Requirements:

· US Citizenship (Z-AXIS does some government work)

· Developed verbal communication skills.

· Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & basic Accounting background.

· Professional polished appearance.

· Telephone skills.
