We are seeking a highly motivated QA Receiving Calibration Technician to join our dynamic quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of calibration processes for incoming equipment and components. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of precision, safety, and operational efficiency across our manufacturing and industrial maintenance environments. To ensure all incoming materials, hardware, tooling, and customer-supplied products meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and company quality standards by performing receiving inspections, maintaining material traceability, supporting First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, and assisting with the calibration program
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of incoming equipment, sensors, and instrumentation using precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters, calipers, and specialized calibration tools.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, hardware, tooling, and customer-supplied products.
- Verify purchase orders, packing slips, Certificates of Conformance, Certificates of Analysis, and material certifications for compliance.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calibrated measuring equipment.
- Document inspection results, maintain receiving records, and ensure complete material traceability within the ERP/QMS system.
- Identify, document, segregate, and report nonconforming materials while coordinating corrective actions with Purchasing and Quality.
- Support calibration by maintaining calibration records, verifying calibration status of measuring equipment, and preparing equipment for calibration.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and audit-ready receiving inspection area while following safety and quality procedures.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), electrical blueprints, and schematics to accurately diagnose issues and verify calibration procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions related to electrical systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic components, industrial controls, and automation systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS).
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on high voltage and low voltage systems to ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures.
- Maintain detailed calibration records, update calibration logs, and ensure all equipment meets industry standards for precision and safety.
- Support field service activities by assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial automation equipment such as vision inspection systems, CNC machines, sensors, and industrial controls.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret electrical schematics, schematics for instrumentation, P&IDs, and AutoCAD drawings to facilitate troubleshooting and calibration efforts.

Minimum Educational Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Manufacturing, warehouse, receiving, or quality inspection experience preferred but not required.
Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
