Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, preparing ingredients for cooking, and supporting the culinary team in delivering high-quality meals. Responsibilities

Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to meet safety standards in production.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques.
Support meal preparation by organizing ingredients and ensuring all items are ready for cooking or serving.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, sinks, storage spaces, and dining surfaces.
Follow food safety protocols during handling, storage, and disposal of food items to prevent contamination.
Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels or shortages.
Support catering events or food service operations as needed, ensuring timely setup and cleanup.

Requirements

Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable.
Experience with menu planning, food preparation, or cooking in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred.
Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and proper food handling techniques is essential.
Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures.
Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques; ability to handle kitchen tools safely.
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff and serving guests.
