Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Control & Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will orchestrate the production planning process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. Control production workflow and scheduling from confirmed customer order through shipment by releasing planning, monitoring material and labor readiness, expediting work in process, and communicating schedule risks so PAC can meet customer delivery requirements efficiently and reliably.
Duties
§ Maintain the master production schedule, release production planning to the shop floor, and align work release with customer delivery requirements, inventory availability, and labor capacity.
§ Track work-in-process status, shop performance to schedule, job tracker data, part movement, and shipment readiness; expedite production flow as required.
§ Monitor material and inventory status, coordinate with Purchasing and warehouse functions, and identify shortages or risks that may affect planned production or customer deliveries.
§ Prepare and maintain customer status reports and regularly communicate schedule, WIP, pending work, shipped parts, and delivery risks to management and applicable internal stakeholders.
§ Support effective use and continuous improvement of Job Tracker and Epicor production control transactions, including user guidance, issue resolution, and data accuracy.
§ Support labor planning, standards review, and other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management, production planning, or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise resource planning tools.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and demand forecasting analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Excel for demand planning insights and production scheduling adjustments.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office tools including spreadsheets for detailed data analysis is highly preferred.

· Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
· Ability to learn and effectively use Epicor enterprise software and Job Tracker systems.
· Understanding of Lean Manufacturing fundamentals and efficient parts/material flow in a manufacturing environment.
· Thorough understanding of customer order, delivery, materials order, and production flow processes preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
