Full Job Description

Account Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Account Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and requires minimal supervision to stay productive.

Success in this role depends on exceptional time management, strong organizational skills, and an unwavering attention to detail. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities while consistently meeting deadlines. Accuracy is critical, as this position directly impacts customer satisfaction, company financials, and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Professionally answer and direct inbound customer calls while providing excellent customer service.
Process customer billing accurately and in a timely manner.
Manage accounts receivable, including collections and follow-up on past-due accounts.
Enter and process vendor invoices for accounts payable with a high degree of accuracy.
Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential financial and customer records.
Prioritize daily workload to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Identify issues proactively and resolve them independently whenever possible.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
Assist with additional administrative, accounting, and office responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage responsibilities without constant oversight, and take ownership of assigned work.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional phone etiquette and a customer-first attitude.
Working knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting principles is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
Previous administrative, accounting, or office experience required.
