IHC Jackson County in Seymour, IN is now recruiting for a Clinical Support Staff Coordinator. The Clinical Support Staff Coordinator works with the clinical staff and providers to ensure the day-to-day operation of the clinic is efficient and productive.

Clinic Hours of Operation:
Monday - 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday - 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday - 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Thursday - 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday - 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Clinical Support Staff Coordinator responsibilities include:
Prepares medical and immunization histories.

Takes and records vital signs and other physical data.
-
Prepares patients for examination by the physician.
-
Assists physician in examining room.
-
Makes referrals as appropriate and necessary. Administrative:
-
Serves as site’s VFC Coordinator.
-
Trains new clinical staff; serves as clinical preceptor.
-
Prepares in-kind reports.
-
Completes and submits clinical PDSAs.
-
Orders clinical supplies.
-
Acts as liaison between clinical support staff and Practice Manager.
-
Attends management meetings and communicates relevant information to clinical support staff.

Demonstrate effective teaching, coaching, mentoring skills. Should be expected to attend the preceptor class and act as the preceptor for the clinical staff.

Develop high performing work teams and maintain a team approach to problem solving.

Develop and manage clinical processes effectively and efficiently.

Analyze workflow and implement process improvements where necessary.

Design, initiate, and/or participate in process improvement projects.

Document standard process and problem-solving methods/techniques.

Proficient in computer skills, including typing and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, eCW, etc.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited MA or LPN program.

Medical Assistant certification or LPN license.
-
Spanish communication skills are a plus.
