Responsibilities

Inventory management: Ordering and managing inventories
Staffing: Hiring, training and evaluations
Staff Interaction: Ability to train, lead and motivate staff
Financial Management: Understanding business needs and financial principles
Menu Planning: Planning and developing new menus with Kitchen Manager
Policies and Procedures: Assisting in development and implementation of company policy
Restaurant Operations: Ensuring smooth and successful daily operations
Working Environment: Developing and implementing a positive work culture
DHEC: Ensuring regulations and standards are met
Maintain a current knowledge of current culinary trends

Skills

Ability to lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable based on company standards
Working knowledge of culinary operations
Food safety and proper food handling
Organizational and time management
Proven experience managing professional email communication (e.g., Gmail, Outlook)
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar) and/or Microsoft Office
Experience with restaurant scheduling, including staff shifts and coverage

Requirements

Valid ServeSafe Food Handler certification
Minimum 2 years cooking experience
Remain in good company standing
Proven history of work reliability
Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
