Overview

Join our dynamic groundskeeping team as a Golf Maintenance Laborer and play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, ensuring the course remains beautiful, safe, and playable for members and guests alike. You will be responsible for supporting the upkeep of the landscape, operating grounds maintenance equipment, and assisting with irrigation and turf management tasks. Responsibilities

Assist with golf course groundskeeping by mowing, edging, and trimming turf areas to maintain optimal playing conditions
Operate landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment safely, including power tools, chainsaws, and irrigation systems
Support irrigation system installation, inspection, repair, and management to ensure proper watering schedules and system functionality
Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or materials to facilitate landscape maintenance projects
Maintain the health of the course by applying pesticides responsibly and managing pest control measures in accordance with safety protocols
Conduct routine landscape maintenance activities including planting, gardening, fertilizing, and soil preparation
Support athletic field groundskeeping tasks as needed to ensure safe play surfaces and aesthetic appeal

Skills

Proficiency in operating ground maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and power tools with a strong focus on safety standards
Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
Experience with landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and general landscaping skills
Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy equipment or materials regularly
Familiarity with pesticide management procedures and safety regulations
Strong understanding of golf course groundskeeping standards and athletic field groundskeeping practices
Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly for transporting equipment or supplies
