Full Job Description

Location: Montana
Shifts and Contract Length:

12-hour shifts, various shifts (days, mids, nights). 3x12-hour shifts week 1, 4x12-hour shifts week 2 schedule.

Currently looking for an experienced Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a contract opening in a government healthcare facility located in Crow Agency, Montana. Interested candidates should have 1-year work experience in Emergency Room setting.

Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)

Collect current symptoms, as well as a detailed patient history and then consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.

Performs triage, while considering both physical and psychosocial elements.

Manages basic life support needs and stabilizes patients until the attending physician is available, based upon nursing standards and protocol.

Record patients’ current vital signs.

Obtain specimens for lab tests.

Provide intervention in emergency, life-threatening situations.

Requirements of the Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)

Registered Nurse (RN) license in any of the 50 states

1-year work experience required in Emergency Room setting

BLS, ACLS, TNCC

Willingness to travel to remote healthcare facilities

Willingness to undergo a background check
