Position Overview
HACKNER HOME is seeking a skilled seamstress to join our studio team, specializing in the creation of designer pillow covers made from premium textiles.
This is not a high-volume production role. Our work is focused on quality, precision, and craftsmanship, using elevated materials such as linen, performance fabrics, and custom textiles.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys a calm and organized environment, and values creating beautifully finished pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Sew high-quality decorative pillow covers with precision and consistency
- Install zippers cleanly using a straight stitch sewing machine
- Work with a variety of fabric types including linen, woven textiles, and performance fabrics
- Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet HACKNER HOME quality standards
- Maintain an organized and efficient personal workspace
- Support small-batch production in a team-oriented studio environment

Qualifications
- Experience using a sewing machine (industrial or home)
- Ability to install zippers with clean, straight finishes
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Comfortable working with medium to heavier weight fabrics
- Reliable, focused, and takes pride in quality workmanship
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Upholstery or furniture sewing experience
- Home decor sewing (pillows, cushions, soft goods)
- Professional sewing experience OR highly skilled hobby sewing
