Full Job Description

Job Summary
Join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your energetic approach will help foster positive behavior change, support skill development, and enhance quality of life for clients across various settings, including home, school, and community environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while providing compassionate care.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene to promote independence.
Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment plans.
Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols designed by supervising BCBAs.
Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies.
Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, progress notes, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency across environments.
Adhere to ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering direct behavioral therapy.

Experience

Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred.
Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is advantageous.
Familiarity with medical terminology, behavioral data collection methods, and medical documentation practices is a plus.
Home-based behavioral experience or school experience supporting individuals with disabilities enhances your candidacy.
Demonstrated ability to implement ABA therapy protocols effectively and manage behavior positively is essential.
Strong client communication skills and a compassionate approach are vital for success in this role.
