Business Development Center (BDC) Representative

Location: 100 Federal Rd, Danbury, Connecticut
Job Type: Full-Time

About Curry INEOS Grenadier

Curry INEOS Grenadier is part of the Curry Auto Group and represents the INEOS Grenadier — a purpose-built 4X4 designed for customers who value capability, adventure, craftsmanship, and individuality.

In addition to our new INEOS Grenadier lineup, we offer a selective pre-owned vehicle inventory, giving our customers a variety of options to find the right vehicle to fit their needs and budget.

We’re looking for an energetic, customer-focused Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our team and help create exceptional experiences for customers from their very first interaction with the dealership.

The Opportunity

As a BDC Representative, you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers. You’ll communicate with prospective buyers by phone, text, email, and online channels, answer initial questions, qualify leads, and schedule showroom visits and test drives.

You will work with customers interested in new INEOS Grenadier vehicles as well as our pre-owned inventory, helping identify their needs and connecting them with the right member of our Sales team.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, persistent, and comfortable having conversations with customers. You don't need to be an automotive expert on day one — we’ll help you learn our products and inventory. What matters most is your ability to build relationships, follow up consistently, and turn opportunities into appointments.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to internet, phone, and other inbound customer inquiries.
Contact prospective customers through phone calls, text messages, and email.
Assist customers interested in new INEOS Grenadier vehicles and pre-owned vehicles.
Qualify customer needs, interests, vehicle preferences, and purchase timelines.
Schedule and confirm appointments for showroom visits, test drives, and sales consultations.
Follow up consistently with unsold prospects and previous inquiries.
Maintain accurate customer information and communication records in the dealership CRM.
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure a smooth handoff when customers arrive.
Monitor and follow up on leads according to dealership processes and established follow-up schedules.
Re-engage previous customers and prospects who may be ready to purchase.
Help customers discover alternative vehicle options when their original vehicle of interest is no longer available.
Stay informed about the INEOS Grenadier lineup, features, trims, pre-owned inventory, and current dealership offerings.
Help create a welcoming, professional, and memorable customer experience.
Meet or exceed performance goals for calls, contacts, appointments, and appointment show rates.

Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone.
Ability to communicate effectively through text and email.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple leads and priorities at the same time.
A team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
Automotive, BDC, customer service, or sales experience is a plus, but not required.
A valid driver's license is preferred.
