Advanced Radiology is one of the largest independent radiology practices in the tri-state area with the most experienced radiologists. We look for team members who want to grow and be professionally challenged, while enjoying a rewarding, caring, and friendly environment. We are looking for a Per Diem Mammo Tech to join our team. The pay range for this role will depend on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Per Diem
The Mammography Technologist performs screening mammography exams; reviews all necessary documentation related to the procedures and performs related clinical and administrative duties.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring patient satisfaction.

Operating knowledge of mammographic equipment.

Performs all screening mammograms within assigned area.

Reviews all necessary documentation to perform procedures.

Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness.

Performs QC as required by the MQSA.

Performs related clinical and clerical duties associated with the patient procedure.

Assures that the procedures performed are in accordance with policies and procedures.

Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready the equipment for patient imaging.

Contributes to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.

Educational Requirements:

College degree preferred
-
ASRT (RT)(R)(M) and CT State License required
